Hellcaster Demo V2


Added:

  • Raven and sufferers now bleed
  • sufferers now spawn corpses on death
  • NEW CONTROLS:
    • the right analog stick now strafes in al directions
    • sprint is now also mapped to left shoulder
    • these in tandem can be used to enhance combat
  • Walk/Run animation now changes speed depending on how faster Raven is running

Fixed:

  • Respawning now (should) unload the level you died in
  • Raven no longer remains overstimulated upon loading save
  • Inventory items no longer save multiple times
  • Upon returning to "Stable" mental state, Raven's walk speed now automatically returns to normal


TO DO:

  • Make save system as foolproof as possible from exploits
  • Create graphics for "Damned." (Game Over) screen
  • Find more bugs!
  • Fix said bugs!
  • Polish this demo as much as possible before moving on to make more content
  • figure out a good way to handle cinematics and/or FMVs in Godot... Maybe prerendered with an animated sprite 2d, and just hard code the audio and other timed stuff? Doesn't *sound* like a bad way, my video editor doesn't support the only video format Godot does sooo uwU
