Following the overhyped "Y3k virus", the United States, now rebranded as New America(TM), the Megacorp conglomerate known as the Syndicate has taken full control of the World Wide Web, making the long-held tradition of online piracy impossible in practice.

A new counterculture of the Centrillion generation known as "mixtape delinquents" have begun to rebel by bring "piracy" into the real world, buying and selling bootlegs of digital media on Compact Discs.

In the year 3002, our such bootlegger stumble upon a disturbing secret, unravelling a corporate conspiracy than what was imagined to be possible.

MIXTAPE DELINQUENTS is a hybrid point-and-click/visual novel, narrative-driven pitch-black sc-fi dramedy, rendered in retro CGI with stylistic switch ups, featuring vintage rave style soundtrack. Set in a retrofuturistic cyberpunk dystopia in an alternate timeline from ours, it follows genetically modified, bitterly cynical protagonist Dessy "DB" Bells and their three closest friends. The game is currently in early development (as of release of the demo), so a release date is not yet decided or known. It will likely be released when it is done.
